One of the reasons why innovation is still being chased by organisations is that for many innovation is about new products or processes.

Where I have seen success is where innovation is treated as a behavior. Byrd&#039;s work in &quot;the innovation equation&quot; is an enlightened look at innovation in executives and people, where innovation is seen as a set of behaviours, her work suggests that different people have a different propensity to innovate or change and that as executives we need to recognise individual strengths and utilize them effectively.
